The Regional Institute of Printing Technology Alumni Association organized Sharod Milan 2024 at The University Institute Hall, Kolkata on 9th November 2024. This year the star attraction was Shri Saheb Chattopadhyay, an eminent singer cum actor and Smt. Sudeshna Ganguly, a versatile singer. A full house enjoyed the evening.
They were further entertained through cultural presentation by RIPTAA members and family members. Amongst them were Miss Adrija Biswas (Dance), daughter of Shri Subrata Biswas; Master Alekhya Biswas (Song), son of Shri Swadhin Biswas; Mrs. Alpana Das Kayal (Recitation) wife of Shri Amit Das, Master Kinjal Roy (Song), son of Shri Kalyan Roy; Mandolin recital by Shri Khokan Chandra Dey, Song by Shri Naru Gopal Malick, Master Sambit Ghosh (Recitation), son of Shri Bidhan Chandra Ghosh; Miss Upasana Pramanik (Song), daughter of Shri Sridam Pramanik; Miss Aradhya Dey (Dance), daughter of Shri Sandip Dey; Song presented by Smt. Sangita (Tania) Roy, Mrs. Malabika Das Bhowmik (Recitation) wife of Shri Arindam Bhowmik; Master Arikta Das (Song), son of Shri Amit Das.
Each of the performers were felicitated by the RIPTAA Executive Body Members. The event was covered by the Doordarshan Kendra Kolkata and telecast elaborately in their Camera Cholche programme. Also a few sponsors helped in making the evening a memorable one.
