Regional Institute of Printing Technology Alumni Association (RIPTAA) in association with Petals Health, Phoolbagan, Kolkata organized a Free Health Check-Up Camp for press workers on 15th June 2024 at Lotus Weigh Bridge, Garpar, Kolkata. Two Doctors (General Medicine and Ophthalmologist) assisted by four Sisters conducted Eye Check-up and General Health Check-up with ECG, Blood Sugar Test and BP Check-up. 81 employees of 10 Printing establishment of the surrounding area, namely, M/s. S. P. Communications, Loknath Printers, Adwell International Private Ltd, Abhinandan Enterprises, Kalpana Printers, Print Concept, Vignette, Puja Creations, Banshika Graphics and Saraswati Printers availed of this opportunity. All infrastructural facilities were provided very kindly by M/s. S. P. Communications.
The Health Camp was followed by Free Distribution of Educational Kits amongst 60 underprivileged children of the Garpar area.
